Òrò pa èsì je (matter kill comment)

My friend Dayo Ogunyemi took these pictures on Falomo Bridge Ikoyi yesterday. An appropriate caption defies me so over to you smart folks, how would you caption this, and in the nature of our hard to explain realities, how would you describe this.

Caption: ....Someone give that car a Nigerian passport. Lord knows its battered, bruised and overworked enough to have one.

Here are my two Nollywood style scenarios:
1. Struggling man, wife and five kids have just been evicted from their overcrowded face-me-I-face- you by their shylock landlord and have gathered all their worldly possessions into a broken down car enroute to the village while they work out what to do next.
2. Ruthless "importer/ exporter" has just smuggled contraband goods into Lagos from Benin Republic, bribing everyone in sight, and is heading for the market to sell them at inflated prices in his clapped out old banger which of course has no valid papers.

Where them dey pack go?!?!

That mum...hmmm...she needs a few nutrition lessons. Fruits in the morning is better than stuffing the kids wiith sugar everyday!
On the other hand she cam prepare their meals a day befo and microwave/pack a meal for them in the morning.

WOW!!!! Like really!! WOW!! I saw the first picture and the first thing that came to my mind was, "does that thing move??" and i'm scrolling down and my question is answered!!!

This is real, and should not be allowed. Sad comedic shame. Isn't it ironic how next to that thing or behind it, a 2007 Infinit QX will roll by like nothing happened?

Not surprising. A pick up even wose than dat car was used to supply some building blocks I was so shocked. I told off the driver and his motor boys. The pick up won't even go into reverse! I have it on tape somewhere. The driver should be given 24 strokes of cane at Tafawa balewa Square or Teslim Balogun Stadium Mainbowl and it should be on National Tv network then d car should be crused like a coke can. Where is FRSC,VIO abi LASTMA. There are loads of cars like this at Mile 12,Iddo etc

This is really 'oro pesi je' I must say. This is extremely ridiculous. So much for MOT in Lagos. Well, I will call it 'EXPRESS DELIVERY SERVICES'...LOL!

that picture my people is the true story of how Nigerians struggle to make ends meet no matter what.On closer inspection u'll notice the goods consist of yam, groundnut oil, pepper etc. Some stuggling traders have gone to Epe probably to buy foodstuff at cheap prices, inorder to maximize profit they have hired this contraption(ofcourse bcos its cheaper than other cabs) to convey the goods to where they can sell on retail. The lower the transport cost, the higher the profit margin.U can also be sure that they'll be stopped by policemen & road safety officials, not because they've broken nearly every safety rule in the book but to ensure they drop "something"...the story of the car owner can only be told another day!!!!

Men! This one na real "one size fits all" transportation!
