Strike One
Still on the topic of righting wrongs (yeah I know how that sounds), ANDY UBA IS OUT! Suddenly I am hopeful again.

One down, many more Obasanjo boys to go!
Thinking of Andy Uba only reminds me of his corrupt act of ferrying huge caches of stolen cash on Nigeria's presidential jets? And for the ruling political elites to impose this buffoon on Anambra state as governor, is a class act of mediocrity. Kudos to the justice system for standing up to this injustice and for rejecting these unconstitutional, sham and fraudaulent election winners. We need to kick them all out, including Yar'Adua!
awon agbaya buruku!!!
When I hear news like this I am inspired to start thinking again of how we can work to rebuild...
*sigh* na wah sha
Right! It is good development for our democracy. Besides,
according to
reports there were no elections during the April 14, 2007 polls in Anambra.
This should be a lesson for our politicians who have always believe they can
have their “ways” in “duping” us. To Peter Obi, he should convince all Anambra
people that he is up to the task by embarking on projects that will be of
benefit to the populace.
I think it's about time they are al flushed out. one down, many to go.
I am not an Andy Uba supporter, but as an Anambra native I'm tired of the bullshit and would vote to dissolve the embarrassment that is our state.
@ all, this is an example of what is possible if we can ensure true sepeartion of power, the supreme court has been most commendable in recent judgements. Alos l am intrigued by the Obi's dogged pursuit of justice using democratic institutions, l dare hope that such a man must have his head screwed on right.
Telling u that I was jumping around our newsroom in jubilation would be putting a damper on my feelings at the news when we 1st heard (and broke, lol)the story.
Peter O's pic should be next to the word "persevere" in the dictionary!!
P.s ; But Gani doesn't like the wahala this may eventually cause, lol.
There is a God!!Nuff said
