Our Lagos

Found these pictures (The ugly side of Lagos) from PM News last week and I wonder what our Lagos has become.

Anyway, Lagos state government is thinking about Lagos (pics below) being a mega city in 2020. Hun! I hope it happens so soon

The problem is Naija thinks of progress only in terms of infrastructure - what a fallacy! You need a fully functional society to support aesthetic progress of fancy bldgs and whatever, i.e. no more kids begging for alms on street corner b/c we have found a way to get them uniforms and fees for school! China is learning; India has not learned; Russia does not care: let Nigeria do it right!

They should create a market centre for those whose trades they are destroying in the process, they should get rid of all the old men in government and put fresh new people with fresh ideas that better our country and then their infrastructure would be a meaningful investment. AND GET THAT NAIRA UNDER CONTROL for heaven's sake. The over inflated Naira is painful to think about
