This is Prof Jadesola Akande former VC of LASU talking on my show NEW DAWN. She was tear gassed by the police when she led other women on a peaceful processing after the Sosoliso crash that killed over 60 children 11 months ago. The show aired on Monday 6th Nov.

The Obasanjo administration has succeeded in stifling the voices of dissent as Nigeria disintegrates into a slippery slop of total ineptitude and divisiveness on every facets of our social, economic and political life! OBJ & co continues to disengage itselfs from the real issues that affects us as nation, while entrenching corruption and demagogue on the alter of meritocracy and good governance to the Nigerian people. Nigerians need to hold our political elites to account as we struggle to free ourselves out of the shackles of the lowest of rung of degeneracy!

I want a president who speaks good english. One who can dream and make those dreams come true. I wanta president who has one wife and holds hands with her in public. That cant be Babangida, nor Atiku. Its gotta be Donald Duke or Pat Utomi. If they cant silence us via this sham of a registeration exercise, then all people who agrre with me must stand up and not permit them to foist another rotten old tout type on us come 2k7
